Built in 2008 with the support of the McKinley Foundation, Presby Hall offers a modern and eco-friendly living environment in the heart of campus. With over 200 residents, Presby Hall offers students many opportunities to make new friends or become involved in community service.

Presby Hall’s spacious suites were built to provide the best living environment available to University of Illinois Students. Comprised of a living room, kitchen, two bathrooms, and either five- or six-bed suites, Presby Hall’s suite layouts provide a great combination of social and private areas. Each fully furnished suite includes:

PresbyHall is the first certified “green” residence option at the University of Illinois, built according to the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold standard.
Residents benefit from the supportive environment provided at Presby Hall through the support of the McKinley Foundation. Reverend Keith Harris, Director of Student Ministry, is a clinical psychologist as well as an ordained pastor. He leads the McKinley Foundation’s outreach to University of Illinois students and the residents of Presby Hall.
The residence hall is professionally managed and staffed with an on-site resident director and six resident advisors.
