Feeding the hungry, building bridges, and combating racism and poverty—these are just a few examples of the amazing work being done in our community that will be honored at the 2021 McKinley Foundation Social Justice Awards Gala.
Held annually, the awards “celebrate students and community members who have demonstrated contributions and achievement in making our world a more just and better place, leveling the playing field and supporting marginalized people,” said Paula Hancock, Executive Director at McKinley. Each award carries a $500 prize. The award winners will be honored at a virtual celebration on Thursday, April 29, 7 to 8 PM via Zoom. Tickets are free, but advance registration is required.
