On Sunday, February 19, members of the McKinley Presbyterian Church, the McKinley Foundation, and some students met with Mike Doyle, the Executive Director of the University YMCA and a board member of the CU Immigration Forum to share with us how we might better partner with immigrants in our community after the 10:30am worship. Follow up meeting are being scheduled to put some plans into action.

Sunday, February 19 at 11:30 AM
The McKinley In Action group invites you to join us for refreshments and conversation with Megan Flowers, a representative from the CU Immigration Forum, to see how McKinley might better partner with that organization to advocate and support the immigrant population. Please email Jennifer Wetzel by Wednesday, February 15 so that we can plan for food and materials.
We need your assistance on Tuesday, February 14, at the food pantry at Garden Hills Elementary School. We will unload and stock shelves at 9:30 a.m. for an hour or so and serve our pantry guests from 3:15 to 6 p.m. Please contact Pastor Keith or Andrea Miller if you’d like to volunteer at either time on that day.
The pantry continues to have a great need for toilet paper. Please leave any that you can donate in the McKinley Church sanctuary foyer or in the container outside of the administrative assistant’s office in the McKinley Foundation.
