Giving thanks for your Thanksgiving generosity

Last week was a wonderful week of Thanksgiving for many reasons! The McKinley/Garden Hills Elementary food pantry was very busy, as we had 40 families come on Tuesday, representing 83 adults and 189 people served much-needed food. For the month of November, we served 129 adults and 159 children. Thank you for your continued generosity to the food pantry in funds and volunteer hours. You may remember that we set a goal of providing 15 complete Thanksgiving food baskets—because of your donations, we were able to assemble and deliver 32 baskets!

On Thanksgiving Day, more than 40 people were fed throughout the afternoon. We are grateful for the 11 volunteers who came to help serve and to connect with our guests.

On behalf of many grateful people, thank you for your care and for extending the love of God through these ministries.
